Manuela Collis


Manuela Collis is an Assistant Professor of Organization and Strategy

Manuela studies how organizations, institutions, and norms shape equal opportunity, knowledge work, and innovation.

She received her Ph.D. from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where she was a PhD Fellow at the Institute for Gender and the Economy (GATE) and a 2024–25 graduate fellow of the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. She holds an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland.

She co-organizes the IGL Masterclass on designing field experiments — an expansion of the Strategy & Field Experiments Conference, hosted by the Innovation Growth Lab.
