Experienced Media & Tech Executive in Innovation & Product Development/ Past Director of Digital Distribution Operations, NBCUniversal

Keith is a Carnegie Mellon graduate from Heinz College as well as the College of Engineering. He has his MBA from the University of Southern California.

Starting his media and entertainment career over 20 years ago during the GE/NBC acquisition of Universal, he has worked from the ground up through a GE leadership program to learn the operations and technology aspects of the business. Keith then jumped from a back office supporting role to working on the sales team driving the strategy and business development deals for cable and digital distribution in the US and Canada. Setting standards, executing on deals, and providing distribution for both NBCU's TV assets (NBC, Syfy, Bravo, USA, Oxygen, the Olympics, etc.) as well as the film business (Universal, Rogue and Focus). Keith was one of the executives who worked on the original Hulu deal and was the primary point of contact for all of NBCU until he left the company in June 2011 and switched industries (staying in Los Angeles) to work at a different type of innovator in the LegalTech space. Keith ran Product for a start-up changing the way that consumers access the law for basic needs. In March 2020, Keith became an elected official, serving as first, a volunteer City Councilman and eventual Mayor of LaCanada/Flintridge. Keith is married to the love of his life and has a quiverful of wonderful children. He also previously served on the Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association Board and is active in a wide variety of Carnegie Mellon activities.
