Kim J. Hyatt
Associate Teaching Professor
Dr. Hyatt teaches core communication courses for the School of Information Systems Management and the School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University, Heinz College. Her research focuses on the development and utilization of a virtual reality (VR) application to improve public speaking skills using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and reflection. She serves as a university senator and is founder/president of a nonprofit organization that engages professionals from the Pittsburgh community to provide robotics education that inspires life-long learning in STEAM for K-12 students and teachers.
