Graduate Student Conference Funding


We encourage you to seek opportunities outside the classroom to enrich your graduate student experience and grow your network. The resources listed below are intended to help Heinz College students with the cost of conference registration, travel, and lodging so you may attend conferences in your intended professional field. 

Conference Funding Application Periods (2023-2024)

FALL 2023
Conferences between: October 1 - December 31, 2023
Submit between: September 5 - 16, 2023

 

 

 

WINTER 2024
Conferences between: January 1 - March 31, 2024
Submit between: November 6 - 27, 2023* 

 

 

 

 

SPRING 2024
Conferences between: April 1 - June 30, 2024
Submit between: February 19 - March 1, 2024 

 

SUMMER 2024
Conferences between: July 1 - September 30, 2024
Submission dates will be announced soon. 


*Note that all students planning to attend January, February, and March conferences have been funded through our winter application process. Beginning February 19, we'll be accepting applications for conferences happening from April 1 up to and including June 30, 2024.

GRADUATE STUDENT ASSEMBLY (GSA) & PROVOST'S OFFICE CONFERENCE FUND


Graduate Student Conference Funding is provided by the Graduate Student Assembly and the Provost's Office, and is managed by the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs.

Heinz College Conference Fund


Heinz College has a limited pool of funds to support students’ participation in professional conferences.

Research Funding


The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs offers additional funding for research.
