Currently VP & Head of Operations at Select Management Group, the leading independent management company representing top digital talent with massive online audiences. As an entrepreneur, Alisa also sits on the board of several tech startups.
Most recently, Alisa was the Head of Strategy and Revenue at Rostrum Records – an independent label with such diverse artists as Wiz Khalifa, Mod Sun, the Bird and the Bee, Donora and others. Prior to Rostrum, she founded and built the Insights division for the world's leading music company, Universal Music Group, home to the most iconic and influential labels and brands in entertainment. Pioneered and integrated consumer and data-driven strategies for product, brand, and artist development, globally, and the music industry at large. She was instrumental in the successful release, marketing, and branding strategies for numerous labels and global artists, including Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Shawn Mendes, James Bay, OneRepublic, Capitol Christian Music Group, Blue Note, Motown, etc.
Alisa began working in music at age 21 selling records at a record store and simultaneously a DJ for an alternative rock station in Stillwater, Oklahoma—home of Oklahoma State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. She discovered, developed, and managed the All-American Rejects, securing their first record deal that catapulted them into global superstars. Before UMG she worked at MTV and Warner Music Group, while concurrently earning her MBA at New York University, specializing in Strategy & Leadership.
