Heather Cohen is a 25+ year marketing veteran who has worked across entertainment as well as multiple categories (automotive, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, luxury, retail, tech, travel). She has worked for (and with) some of the biggest companies in the country including BBDO, HBO, Walt Disney Theatrical, TBWA Chiat Day, J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy & Mather, Paramount Studios, Fox Studios, Palisades MediaGroup, Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, Saban, Relativity Media, and Apple. She is currently Freelance Strategy and Activation Lead for Publicis Groupe. She advises across all of their global ad agencies from Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Team One, Epsilon, Digitas, Razorfish, Spark, Sapient, Zenith.

During her career, she has overseen 14 Best Picture Oscar Winning Campaigns. Her marketing campaigns on various films have vetted over 65+ Oscars, Golden Globes, Independent Spirit, Critics Choice, WGA, PGA, DGA awards with a wide variety of genres from Roadside Attraction’s September Issue to Lionsgate’s La La Land. She also helped Netflix and Amazon Prime get streaming into the award season by winning multiple awards for Transparent, Orange is the New Black, and House of Cards. Beyond her accolades in entertainment, she has worked across a number of ground-breaking Clio and Grand Cannes campaigns including Apple’s now legendary “Think Different”, relaunched Levis in the late 90s through the use of working with stylists/influencers, as well as launching gaming console franchises PlayStation and Xbox.

In addition to her role as an advisor at MEIM, Heather volunteers for Civic Power of Change to help champion get out the vote and lower ballot initiatives.  She also teaches at MyCAD, a professional development program that Ayzenberg collaborates with Pasadena Unified School District to help bring computer science and graphic design to low-income high school students.
