Casey Droege
Executive Director, Casey Droege Cultural Productions
Casey Droege (She / They) is an artist and cultural producer.
Droege has built a career over two decades in the arts while working as an artist, an educator, and serial entrepreneur. In late 2016, she made the leap to start her own experimental arts business Casey Droege Cultural Productions. CDCP was created around her own artistic practice and has experimented with platforms to introduce artists to the public and get them paid. Droege has a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, but has found their network from Schenley High School and Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild to be the most valuable. Her own artistic practice involves conceptual art, temporal events and community building through entrepreneurship. Her work has been written about in the New York Times, ARTnews, Temporary Art Review, ARTSY, and most Pittsburgh publications.
