John Shantz

He is also a former Deloitte Consulting manager in their data warehouse and business intelligence practice. John’s tenure at Deloitte spanned seven years, and he was one of the original founders of that business within Deloitte. He helped Deloitte to grow their public sector data warehousing practice from two individuals in 1997 to a multi-million dollar practice in 2003 with over fifty consultants. John’s credentials include design, development and management duties on more than ten different data warehouse initiatives in various industries across the country. His ten years of experience in data warehousing have helped him become an authority on successful data warehouse design, development and implementation.

John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and was a member there of Eta Kappa Nu, the international electrical engineering honor fraternity. He graduated with high honors from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business in 2001 with concentrations in information technology and finance.
