Organized for students, by students
Throughout the academic year, Heinz College students organize and participate in special events that foster camaraderie, educate, entertain, and benefit the entire Heinz College community.
At the beginning and end of each academic year, students gather at the beautiful Schenley Park for delicious food, music, lots of great outdoor activities, and fun in the sun.
Heinz College International Festival
During the Heinz College International Festival, students showcase their talents and entertain their classmates at the Cultural Show, then enjoy international faire and music from around the world.
Black History Month
In February, Heinz College students celebrate Black History Month by reliving the narrative of black poets through their work, sharing powerful words from throughout the decades that resonate today.
Each October, Heinz College students walk in the footsteps of leaders and learn valuable leadership strategies in the process at Gettysburg National Military Park.
The Heinz Forum is a monthly, student-led discussion of current policy topics. The Forum gives students an opportunity to share their opinions and hear what their fellow classmates have to say.
Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise
Working with Army War College Foreign Service Officers, Heinz College students work in teams representing different countries to negotiate the best solution to a tough, real-world, stalemated crisis.
