MASTER OF SCIENCE IN PUBLIC POLICY AND MANAGEMENT (MSPPM)

Become a future leader and change agent in public policy to improve lives.

To tackle society’s most complex problems, a firm understanding of policy is essential, but so are the technology and analytical foundations to create the right solutions—and the management prowess to deploy those solutions for maximum impact.

The Carnegie Mellon University MSPPM program gives you evidence-based, problem-solving skills that simply cannot be matched by any other school of public policy, school of management, or school offering purely technical training.

CAREER OUTCOMES

MSPPM graduates are employed across various government entities, non-profits, international agencies, and private consulting firms. Over the past three years, nearly half of our graduates had starting salaries of $75K or more.

SCHOLARSHIPS

MSPPM applicants can be considered for various merit, partnership and other scholarship opportunities that can help offset the tuition cost. In fact, the average scholarship award for the fall 2021 class was 50%!

HEINZ COLLEGE
Policy. Technology. Management. Heinz College is the only place to get all three. As an MSPPM student, you’ll receive interdisciplinary training in Heinz College’s core strengths of technology and quantitative management with unmatched experiential learning opportunities, the hallmark of a Heinz College education and a cornerstone of your MSPPM degree.
