Medical Management (MMM) Application Process
The Master of Medical Management (MMM) program is designed exclusively for physicians, and nearly all specialties have been represented since the program's inception in 1998.
To apply, you must be a physician (MD or DO) and have a minimum of five years of post-residency professional experience. Although previous management experience is not required, most students have some experience in large health care organizations, group practices, insurance companies, rural clinics, and solo practices.
In order to be considered for admission, applicants must submit an online application form, along with the required application materials. Before you start your application, please review the MMM program's application checklist and the required prerequisite coursework below.
The application deadline is April 1, but we will continue to accept applications after the deadline if space remains in the incoming class. As a prospective student, you are encouraged to submit your online application and all required supporting materials as soon as possible. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. However, our Admissions Committee cannot begin reviewing your application until we have received all of your application materials.
You should expect to receive your admission decision within four weeks of our office succesfully receiving and processing your application and all of the required supporting materials.
work Required prior to the start of the first semester
If you are accepted and you choose to enroll in the MMM program, we will mail your "pre-work" directly to you. New MMM students will receive pre-work for the first on-site session. The pre-work, consisting of the Health Finance course material, will be mailed on July 1, with the expectation that you will begin study in July.
Before you begin the online application process, please carefully review the list of application requirements and admission criteria for the Master of Medical Management program.
The Admissions Committee takes a holistic approach to reviewing applications, and we will begin the review of your application after we have received all of your application materials.
