Heinz College is located in the Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh. There are many hotels in surrounding neighborhoods that provide quick and easy access to campus. The closest hotels will be located in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. 

Heinz College is pleased to offer a Travel Subsidy to admitted students who will travel over 200 miles round trip to attend Admitted Student Open House.

Please make note of the following details:
You must be in attendance at Admitted Student Open House on Saturday, March 29, 2025 to receive the Travel Subsidy. Additionally, the Travel Subsidy may be applied to only ONE of the following methods of transportation:

• Airfare
• Bus Fare
• Train Fare
• Rental Car
• Personal Vehicle, reimbursed at $0.25 per mile traveled 

Airfare will be reimbursed up to $450. All other methods of transportation will be reimbursed up to $300.

Lodging and ground transportation expenses (including taxi, Lyft and/or Uber fare) are not eligible expenses for the Travel Subsidy.

Our Saturday session will be held in Hamburg Hall.
