The Cyber COPE® Insurance Certification (CCIC) program provides Chubb brokers and agents with an understanding of industry best practices in cyber security risk management, governance, and operations. In this program, students will learn what high-performing advisors need to know in order to thrive in their roles, including how to interact with executive leadership of potential customers, provide analysis and support in effective cyber risk management, and build and maintain strong relationships with prospective cyber risk insurance clients. 

This 8-month program, created by subject area experts at Chubb and Heinz College, imparts applicable training, including topical discussions on current cybersecurity risk challenges and mitigation practices. Major topics covered in the program are: 

• Cybersecurity foundations
• Cyber risk and resilience management
• Effective incident response
• Cyber law and regulation
• Developing custom insurance solutions

This 2-day intensive workshop provided Ernst & Young employees with a fundamental understanding of digital transformation and how it affects key industries.

But data quality is a universal problem, and distilling mountains of it down into action items continues to be a challenge.

The U.S. Army Data Driven Leadership Certificate Program provides instruction in data science, decision making, emerging technology, and data privacy and security to teach Army leaders how to use data to support the mission of the branch. Starting with the foundations of data management on through to artificial intelligence and data security, this 10-module program gives Army leadership everything it needs to develop a strong, data-driven organization. Participants will share their experiences and discuss how they will apply the methods, tools and techniques taught during the program to their current roles and responsibilities.

This five-month program—Heinz College's flagship executive education offering— takes an interdisciplinary approach to information and technology management. It is designed for CIOs, CTOs, CSO, other executives with IT oversight responsibilities, and their direct reports.

Chief Information Security Officer Certificate

This six-month program, co-administered by Heinz College and the CERT Division of CMU's Software Engineering Institute, blends on-campus and synchronous distance learning and is designed to enhance the careers of cyber leaders.

Chief Risk Officer Certificate

This five-month program, co-administered by Heinz College and the CERT Division of CMU's Software Engineering Institute, blends on-campus and synchronous distance learning and is designed to deliver what CROs need to flourish in their current positions and further develop in their risk management careers.

Chief Data Officer Certificate

This six-month program blends on-campus and synchronous distance learning, and provides critical strategic insight, management techniques, and analytical capabilities needed to set up a 21st century data governance program

Chief Digital Officer Certificate

This five-month program blends on-campus and synchronous distance learning and prepares professionals for next generation leadership and the complexity of digital transformation, including effective management of digital teams, products, and services.

Public Interest Technology Certificate

This six-month program empowers civic leaders to pursue evidence-based action across all areas of government, blending data management, digital innovation, and AI leadership.

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (MSIT)

Teaching data-driven management strategies, technological expertise, key communication methods, and an interdisciplinary curriculum featuring four high-demand focus areas, our MSIT program prepares graduates to tackle IT challenges and lead digital transformation in their organizations.

MSIT is a part-time, distance learning program that is ideal for current IT professionals seeking to add business acumen, management, and targeted problem-solving skills to their portfolios. MSIT can also be a great fit for professionals from less technical areas, such as finance and health care, who wish to pivot toward technology-intensive roles and improve their analytical skills.

All admitted MSIT students will have at least three years of relevant professional experience. However, many incoming students have eight or more years.

Alumni of the CIO, CISO, and/or CRO Certificate Programs are eligible for a tuition discount.
