The Cyber COPE® Insurance Certification (CCIC) program, developed in partnership with Chubb, equips brokers and agents with the knowledge, tools, and frameworks needed to navigate this complexity with confidence. Through an eight-month curriculum that covers cybersecurity foundations, cyber risk and resilience management, incident response, cyber law and regulation, and the development of tailored insurance solutions, participants learn how to assess risk more effectively, communicate with executive-level clients, and strengthen advisory relationships.
Developed and delivered by Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy—an internationally recognized leader in cybersecurity, technology management, and risk analysis—this program provides an applied, interdisciplinary foundation for elevating cyber insurance practice.
