Diversity Explosion: How New Racial Demographics are Changing America

William H. Frey, Senior Research Fellow at the Brookings Institution, is the preeminent demographer in the U.S. His recent book, Diversity Explosion: How New Racial Demographics Are Remaking America, is the definitive work on how the U.S. population is changing and will continue to change. Today the U.S. is on the cusp of becoming a country with no racial majority. Minorities, including growing minorities (Hispanic and Asian), will exert a major impact on U.S. society. Frey finds that without these groups, the U.S. could face a bleak future. Minorities are infusing our aging labor force with vitality and innovation.
