Lessons Learned From the Pandemic Year: What We Learned When We All Went Online During an Eventful Year

The challenges of the past year created a forced experiment in education on a massive scale, requiring us to rethink and rapidly prototype new approaches to educating and engaging our students. What lessons from the pandemic year should we uphold in the future? What educational content and delivery innovations are here to stay, and how have the expectations of our stakeholders changed? On this panel, policy school deans from Carnegie Mellon, Syracuse, Ohio State, and University of Washington reflect on what they learned during this year and the impacts it will have on the educational delivery and environment moving forward.
